Job description

Responsibilities

• Stocking and replenishing bar inventory (alcohol mixers, garnishes, etc.)
• Cleaning and organizing bar area including glassware, utensils and surfaces
• Assisting bartenders with tasks such as preparing garnishes, changing kegs and restocking supplies
• Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the back-of-house areas
• Helping to maintain a safe and sanitary environment by following health and safety regulations
• Providing excellent guest service by promptly fulfilling requests and assisting guests as needed
• Handling cash transactions if required
• Assisting with opening and closing duties as directed by management
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures
• Occasionally assisting with other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers

Qualifications

• Previous Bar operation experience
• One year in a public contact position preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel
• Possess a gracious friendly and fun demeanor
• Ability to multitask work in a fast paced environment and have a high level attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments
• Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork
