Responsibilities
- Prepare and handle dough for buns and sandwich bread according to recipes and standards.
- Mix, knead, proof, and shape dough with precision and consistency.
- Operate commercial ovens, mixers, and other bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all baked products meet quality, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Train and guide junior bakers or kitchen staff when needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized bakery workspace.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bakery chef / baker, especially in dough handling and buns.
- Knowledge of yeast fermentation, proofing, and baking techniques.
- Familiarity with commercial bakery equipment.
- Attention to detail and consistency in quality.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
- Culinary degree or relevant bakery certification is a plus.
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
