Job summary

Dicetek LLC in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Java backend engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade services and APIs.

You will drive test-driven development, ensure high code quality with 80%+ test coverage, implement security measures, and stay ahead of vulnerabilities across middleware and cloud deployment.

Experience in banking domain is preferred; strong analytical and teamwork skills are required to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Total Experience up to 5-10 years.
• Banking Experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• A proactive approach to learning new technologies and improving existing processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain & provide support for JAVA back end services and APIs.
• Analyze requirement and formalize technical approach for the implementation.
• Test Driven development and implementation of middleware services end to end.
• Maximum code coverage (> 80%) through Junit test cases.
• Handling all penetration testing scenarios.
• Bug free application release by ensuring best quality of code in all aspects.
• Implement security measures to protect user data and application integrity.
• Stay informed about common security vulnerabilities and how to mitigate them.
