Aleroy, based in the UAE, seeks a Backend Engineer to build the APIs and services behind our AI platform. You’ll work mainly with TypeScript and Node.js on features like accounts, usage, and billing, collaborating with product, frontend, and infra engineers to turn requirements into production.

You should have 3+ years of backend experience, strong TS/Node.js skills, and solid PostgreSQL knowledge. Go experience is a plus; Docker/CI/CD are desirable.

• 3+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining REST APIs.
• Good working knowledge of PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexes, and transactions.
• Understanding asynchronous programming, error handling, and external API integrations.
• Experience implementing authentication, authorization, and secure handling of user data and credentials.
• Ability to write useful automated tests and troubleshoot production issues.
• Clear communication and the ability to turn product requirements into working backend features.

Mansioni

• Build and maintain backend services and REST APIs using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Implement product features, including authentication, permissions, organizations, projects, and API key management.
• Work with frontend engineers to define clear API contracts and handle loading, errors, and edge cases.
• Deliver features through implementation, testing, release, and follow-up improvements.
• Design PostgreSQL schemas, write migrations, and improve queries where needed.
• Integrate usage reporting, billing, and external services.
• Build background jobs and handle retries, duplicate events, and failed requests safely.

• Keep code readable, document key decisions, and contribute to code reviews.
