Job summary

Blackstone eIT in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced IT platform engineer to own Azure application environments, deployment automation and operational reliability across digital platforms. You will collaborate with security teams on shared infrastructure and recovery requirements.

You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Next.js, React, Node.js, .NET and Strapi, implement IaC, and oversee monitoring, incident response and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Azure development, UAT and production environments for web apps, APIs, CMS and services.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Next.js, React, Node.js, .NET and Strapi apps.
• Maintain infrastructure as code with versioned changes and environment consistency.
• Implement deployment checks, approvals, rollback procedures and release traceability.
• Establish application health checks, logs, dashboards and actionable alerts; investigate production incidents.
• Configure identities, access controls, certificates and secret management with security owners.
• Assess scaling, resource usage and availability; implement improvements.
• Monitor expenditure, identify waste and propose capacity/config changes.
• Coordinate application/database backup requirements and validate restorations.
• Maintain environment inventories, deployment guides, runbooks and knowledge transfer.
