Job summary

Landmark Group in Dubai seeks an Azure Data Architect to lead scalable data solutions within Landmark Digital. You will design end-to-end Azure data architectures, oversee governance, and collaborate with engineering, analytics and DevOps teams.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years as a data architect in high-volume environments, experience with Spark/Hadoop, cloud security concepts, and retail domain insight; familiarity with Azure Purview, SQL/NoSQL and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven 10+ years experience as a Data Architect in a high data volume, multi cloud, complex environment.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar frameworks.
• Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and cloud infrastructure management.
• Knowledge of network security concepts and data security and privacy considerations.
• Retail domain experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize end-to-end Azure data architectures.
• Establish data strategy, governance standards, and best practices across the Azure data ecosystem.
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, DevOps, and business teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Guide data modelling and integration for structured and unstructured data.
• Monitor performance, optimize costs, and ensure data security and compliance.
• Mentor technical teams and drive capability building across groups.
