Job summary

Landmark Group in Dubai is seeking an experienced Azure Data Architect to join the Landmark Digital Data Team. You will design, implement, and optimize Azure-based data solutions to support retail analytics and operations.

You will evolve the data platform, define best practices, model data, ensure security and governance, and collaborate with cross-functional squads to deliver scalable, cost-efficient data workflows.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as a Data Architect in large data, multi-cloud environments.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience with Spark/Hadoop or similar big data frameworks.
• Strong cloud computing concepts and security/data governance knowledge.
• Retail domain experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize Azure-based data solutions at scale.
• Evolve data architecture to ensure scalability and security.
• Define data strategy and best practices across Azure.
• Guide data modelling and integration for structured and unstructured data.
• Ensure governance, access control, and compliance using Azure tools.
• Collaborate with DevOps to automate deployment and monitoring.
• Mentor technical teams and drive data-driven insights for retail.
