Job summary

A leading data management firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly skilled Cloud and Local Data Administrator. This role requires extensive experience in cloud computing and data management technologies, including proficiency in Azure solutions and network administration. Key responsibilities include managing cloud data storage, configuring security infrastructure, and ensuring optimal data performance and security. Certifications in Azure and related technologies are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
• Certifications: Azure, CCNA, MCSE, MCSA, Fortinet or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in cloud computing including IaaS, PaaS, virtualization and cloud infrastructure redundancy.
• Proficiency in network administration.
• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer cloud-based data storage solutions.
• Configure and manage Azure security infrastructure.
• Utilize Azure services for enhanced functionality.
• Implement traffic management and load balancing solutions.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure.
• Manage Azure Kubernetes Service for micro-services.
• Maintain Windows Server environments.
• Configure and manage storage servers.
• Ensure network security.
