Job summary

Delphi Consulting is seeking a Senior App Modernization and DevOps Engineer in Dubai to lead modernization of legacy applications on Azure and implement advanced DevOps practices. You will drive CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and containerization efforts, with a focus on AKS and Azure-native services.

You will collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure secure, scalable deployments, while continuously learning and applying best practices in cloud-native engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years in DevOps/cloud/app development with Azure familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead modernization of legacy apps on Azure.
• Assist in migration and modernization of legacy apps to Azure.
• Support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Implement and manage IaC with ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Deploy and scale applications with AKS.
• Deploy and manage apps on Azure App Services.
• Integrate SonarQube for code quality in CI/CD.
• Automate routine tasks with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Set up monitoring and logging for performance and health.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams.
• Document deployment processes and configurations.
• Pursue continuous learning on Azure services and DevOps tools.
