Job summary

A leading aviation maintenance company located in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced technician to perform aircraft electrical systems maintenance. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6 years in aircraft avionics and hold a Federal Communications Commission license. The role includes troubleshooting, documentation, and imparting knowledge to trainees. Comprehensive training and support will be offered as part of the position.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years experience in Aircraft Avionics or as Electrician in Aviation Maintenance.
  • 3 years electrical repair experience on aircraft type required.
  • Ability to obtain a UAE Driving License.

Responsibilities

Job description
Overview

Performs scheduled and unscheduled aircraft electrical systems maintenance. Carries out directives from the Supervisor in support of the maintenance team and unit operations. Will also be responsible for

  1. Perform inspection, repair, troubleshooting, and testing of aircraft and equipment electrical systems in accordance with applicable technical publications, applicable regulations, and company and local policies and procedures. Assists in ensuring aircraft and equipment are maintained in a high state of mission readiness.
  2. Complete all forms, records, and documents recording aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with DA PAM 738-751, applicable technical publications, applicable regulations, and company and local policies and procedures.
  3. Impart the knowledge of duties and responsibilities in such a manner (advice, support, and On the Job Training to customer trainees) to permit assimilation into the workforce; the final aim being to enable the customer\'s technicians to attain gradual full capacity to carry out self sufficient aircraft electrical repair capability.
  4. Carry out all assigned tasks by the Supervisor in support of the maintenance team and unit operations.

- Federal Communications Commission (FCC) license or industry equivalent. High School Diploma, Graduation from military or commercial aircraft maintenance school or course required.

  • Must be able to attain a UAE Driving License.
Experience

- Minimum of 6 Years Aircraft Avionics or Electrician - Aviation Maintenance

  • Minimum of 3 Years Electrical repair on aircraft type.
  • Must have thorough knowledge in the use of common tools, special tools, test equipment, and aviation ground support equipment used in performing maintenance on the relevant aircraft.
