Job summary

Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi seeks a Production Trainer to develop and deliver technical training for Technicians, Engineers, and supervisors in line with GCAA and international aviation standards.

You will design courses on aircraft systems, safety, and procedures, mentor trainees, and collaborate with operations and QA to align training with regulatory requirements and corporate goals.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, including FAA, GCAA, EASA.
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other training technology platforms is a plus.
• Certified trainer or recognized training qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, plan & deliver theory, practical, & refresher training courses to all levels of the Technical Division in order to meet departmental needs and comply with regulations.
• Maintain and update staff training records for Etihad Technical Operations Division; produce policies and procedures for training development.
• Generate examination questions and review course content for continuous improvement; stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Perform maintenance certification duties as an authorised engineer, leading by example on standards and safety.
• Collaborate with operations, quality assurance, and safety to integrate training initiatives into the curriculum.
