Job summary

Emirates Group is seeking an AVSEC Controller - Regulatory Affairs to oversee regulatory compliance across state, international, and industry requirements, including GCAA obligations and IOSA standards, serving as the primary AVSEC regulatory contacts.

The role coordinates security policy, audits, and stakeholder engagements with government authorities and internal teams to ensure Emirates operations remain aligned with global aviation security regulations.

Qualifications

• Hold a completed degree (12+3 or equivalent).
• Min 5 years in aviation security, security management or related roles with relevant certifications.
• Knowledge of international aviation security standards, legislation and governance.
• Familiarity with airline, airport, screening or aviation operations.
• Experience engaging government authorities, industry partners and internal teams.
• Ability to brief senior leadership with strategic recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication; adaptable to dynamic environments.
• Capable of independent and collaborative work across departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AVSEC regulatory compliance with state and international requirements.
• Coordinate with GCAA, NCASP, and Emirates operations to ensure alignment.
• Serve as AVSEC regulatory focal point for internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor AVSEC activities, submissions, and deliverables with timely follow-up.
• Provide regulatory guidance to operational processes and training.
• Promote security awareness and ensure consistent information sharing.
• Oversee audits, inspections, and exercises (IOSA/ISAGO/CTPAT) and ensure closure.
