Job summary

Emirates in Dubai seeks a Materials Planning Supervisor to lead float provisioning, replenishment, and inventory control for Rotables, BFE, IFE, and consumables, ensuring EIS, maintenance, and line/base support demands are met.

You will collaborate with procurement and logistics to optimize stock levels, manage AOG responses, and drive data accuracy in the ERP system, with a focus on cost efficiency and on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• 10 years schooling or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in Engineering Materials & Stores.
• Airline/MRO Materials & Stores experience or minimum 5 years in Supply Chain Management.
• Experience in an airline or third-party maintenance environment.
• Knowledge of ERP (Inventory Management) system.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to analyze reports and report findings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in float/Initial Provisioning/Replenishment by analysing manufacturer recommendations and surplus review data.
• Review non-moving and slow-moving items and identify surplus stock items to reduce and optimize the inventory.
• Monitor and highlight critical nil stock and Aircraft Maintenance Programme item shortages; coordinate with maintenance, procurement and repairs.
• Assist in defining part numbers and ERP relationships after data collection from manuals and approvals.
• Support AOG/outstation needs by expediting material and coordinating with logistics for timely delivery.
• Carry out stocktaking of EK Inventory at DXB and outstations to ensure accuracy.
• Review inventory parameters and KPIs in ERP to maintain data accuracy.
