Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced engineering professional to provide technical and commercial oversight of aircraft component repairs. You will validate repair scope, negotiate pricing, and optimize costs while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will review maintenance documents, assess BER decisions, investigate root causes of defects, and support AI-enabled quotation reviews to improve outcomes. Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering or equivalent with min 5 years of experience.
• Experience evaluating complex aircraft component repairs and maintenance cost optimization.
• Good understanding of aircraft maintenance documentation (AMM, CMM, IPC, SRM).
• Knowledge of PBH/FH agreements, repair contracts and supplier commitments.
• Strong analytical, technical and commercial judgement with ability to challenge repair scope with evidence.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate complex aircraft component repair quotations and validate scope, pricing and engineering recommendations.
• Assess BER, alternative repair solutions and repair strategies.
• Review AMM, CMM, IPC, SRM, SB, SIL, EO and SFR to support decisions.
• Investigate repeat defects and NFF, perform root cause analysis and implement improvements.
• Review CID, O&A entitlements and repair contracts to propose cost reductions.
• Monitor Maintenance Performance Guarantees and Engine Guarantees.
• Analyze supplier performance and maintenance trends to propose improvements.
• Support engineering procedures, governance, automation and AI-enabled quotation reviews.
