Job summary

Wood in Abu Dhabi is seeking an E3D Specialist to provide expert AVEVA E3D design support for a major ADNOC Offshore PMC assignment. You will work with PMC engineering and project teams to ensure 3D model development, reviews, coordination, and deliverables meet project standards and ADNOC requirements.

The role requires extensive experience in AVEVA E3D/PDMS, offshore oil & gas projects, and strong coordination across engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Specialist AVEVA E3D/PDMS training is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of 3D plant design and modelling principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist technical support for AVEVA E3D modelling and design activities.
• Review contractor E3D models for compliance with ADNOC requirements.
• Perform detailed 3D model reviews across disciplines.
• Identify clashes and constructability issues and drive resolution.
• Coordinate with engineering functions for accurate model integration.
• Support model review meetings (30%, 60%, 90%, final).
• Ensure modelling practices, tagging, and databases are maintained.
• Monitor model quality and provide technical comments to teams.
• Review piping routing, equipment layouts, and interfaces.
• Ensure operability, maintainability, safety considerations in the model.
• Support technical queries and design changes affecting the E3D model.
• Coordinate document control to align updates with approved documents.
• Monitor contractor compliance with BIM/3D procedures.
• Participate in design reviews and provide E3D input.
• Support deliverables for fabrication, construction and offshore installation.
• Maintain model integrity and traceability throughout the project.
• Provide guidance on E3D best practices to teams.
• Support project reporting on model progress and clashes.
• Review final as-built 3D model information where applicable.
