Job summary

Moove seeks a Validation Driver to monitor autonomous vehicle safety, log events, and maintain real-time communication with the ROC. You will follow strict validation protocols, document accurately, and support the engineering team during the pilot phase.

You must hold a UAE driving license with a clean record, have 3+ years of driving experience in the UAE/GCC, and be fluent in English. A safety certification or AV experience is a strong advantage; shifts include early

Qualifications

Valid UAE driving license with a clean record and no major violations in the past three years.
Minimum 3 years of active driving experience in the UAE or GCC.
Professional-level English: read, write, and speak clearly to communicate with engineers and write incident reports.
Comfortable with technology and onboard software systems.
Calm under pressure with rapid, accurate decision-making in unexpected situations.
High attention to detail in checklists, logs, and reporting.
RTA safety driver certification or AV/ADAS experience is a plus; training provided for the right candidate.
Secondary school certificate; a technical diploma in automotive, engineering, or IT is advantageous.
Willingness to work shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

Occupy the driver seat during all autonomous vehicle operations and maintain continuous situational awareness.
Monitor the AV system's behavior, sensors, and displays across shifts.
Take immediate manual control when required for safety.
Communicate in real time with the ROC in clear English.
Follow all safety checklists before, during, and after trips.
Complete pre-trip inspections and verify vehicle readiness.
