Job summary

Moove is seeking a Vehicle Technician to inspect and validate AV sensor hardware and mechanical assemblies. You will verify Lidar, Radar, cameras, and compute units, ensure correct mounting and wiring, and maintain QA records for deployment readiness.

You will work with the AV Safety Manager and engineering to identify defects, support calibration procedures, and ensure safety standards in the Dubai operating environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred.
• Hands-on hardware testing and QA experience with AV sensors is beneficial.
• Comfortable with diagnostic tools and basic vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect AV self-driving hardware including Lidar, Radar, cameras, and compute units.
• Validate sensor mounting, wiring, and enclosure integrity per SOPs.
• Perform hardware tests and document results using 4Cs standards.
• Support calibration of Lidar, Radar, and cameras per standards.
• Elevate defects and assist root-cause analysis with engineers.
• Ensure compliance with UAE safety and regulatory requirements.
