Job summary

Neolixgo, the CargoX joint venture in the UAE, seeks a Government Relations Lead to manage regulator relationships and licensing across emirates. You will be the primary contact with ITC, SASC and RTA, coordinating permits, route approvals, and safety dossiers to sustain expansion.

You will also handle incidents with regulators and monitor regulatory shifts to pre‑empt compliance needs. You will articulate operations to regulators in a way that builds trust, travel between emirates as needed,

Qualifications

  • Established relationships with UAE transport regulators (ITC, RTA, MOI, DMT).
  • Experience in regulated, safety-sensitive sectors; autonomous mobility a plus.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English; driving licence and willingness to travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain proactive regulator relationships with ITC, SASC, and RTA to resolve issues before escalation.
  • Handle permits, licensing, route and zone approvals, and safety dossiers across emirates.
  • Act as first point of contact for incidents, complaints or media inquiries with regulators.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and prepare the business for new rules, ahead of compliance timelines.
  • Represent the company at government events and explain operations to regulators to build trust.
  • Translate regulatory requirements into actionable tasks for Operations, Safety and Product.
