Job summary

Naffco in Dubai, UAE, seeks an Electrical Controls Engineer to design, develop and commission PLC-based automation for automotive manufacturing lines. You will own control system development, hardware selection, panel layout and integration with HMI and CAN/J1939 communication.

A Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years in PLC programming with CODESYS are required. You will collaborate with mechanical, robotics and manufacturing teams, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
3+ years of PLC programming experience in automotive industry.
Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes (robots, conveyors, assembly lines).
Experience with CODESYS is mandatory.
Excellent troubleshooting and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Own design and development of automotive controls for complex logic and interactions.
Create communication between controllers and HMI using Raw CAN and J1939.
Interface between electrical and mechanical design teams during controls development.
Manage multiple projects and negotiate with running projects.
Review and update specifications to maintain optimal technology in control systems.
Develop, document and update PLC programming libraries and standards.
Provide technical support to maintenance and engineering teams.
