Job summary

Al-Futtaim Group is seeking an Assistant Manager-Internal Audit in Dubai to lead and execute audit assignments, develop programs, and report findings in line with international standards. The role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and proficiency with audit and data analytics tools.

The position involves fraud investigations, special assignments, and presenting executive summaries to senior management, ensuring asset protection and compliance with group policies.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant certification (e.g., CPA, ACA) or ACCA, CIA with internal audit knowledge.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the internal audit function, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Thorough knowledge of internal controls and internal auditing standards.
• Proficient in data analytics via spreadsheets and familiarity with ERP systems like SAP and Oracle.
• Desirable exposure to data analytics software (ACL) and audit management/documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the audit manager in developing the annual audit plan by assessing risk levels.
• Develop audit programs for each audit assignment detailing risks, controls, and tests.
• Conduct internal audit assignments to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Review the approval process to ensure compliance with group policies and delegations of authority.
• Ensure that group assets are protected.
• Document audit work in the Audit Management System to support findings.
• Prepare professional audit reports that communicate findings and recommendations.
• Assist in preparing executive summaries and monthly reports for leadership review.
• Utilize data analytics tools like Tableau and Power BI to extend audit coverage.
• Investigate frauds and misappropriations to identify loss and preventive recommendations.
