Job summary

Kavak Mexico is seeking a detail-focused Vehicle Inspector/Buyer in the UAE to lead inspections, assess condition and value, and negotiate with sellers. You will rely on diagnostic tools and market knowledge to determine the right price and secure purchases within pricing guidelines.

The role requires UAE experience, a driving licence, and strong English with Arabic and Hindi as advantageous languages. You will work on-site, coordinating from inspection through to purchase in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years UAE automotive experience with inspection or buying roles.
• Strong knowledge of used vehicles and valuation.
• Proven negotiation and closing skills.
• UAE driving licence (manual & automatic).
• Good spoken English; Arabic preferred; Hindi a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections covering body paint, chassis, engine, transmission, suspension and overall vehicle condition.
• Use diagnostic tools like OBD scanners and gauges to detect faults, accident history or hidden damage.
• Road-test vehicles to assess drivability, noise, vibration and handling issues.
• Identify accident history, repairs, mechanical issues and factors affecting vehicle value.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and recommend the right purchase price.
• Meet sellers, understand their expectations and negotiate offers.
• Handle objections and close vehicle purchases within approved pricing guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of UAE used-car prices, market trends and demand.
• Own the process from inspection to valuation, negotiation and purchase.
