Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive is seeking a General Repair Technician to join our Aftersales workshop in the United Arab Emirates. You will perform periodic vehicle maintenance and general mechanical repairs, including brakes, clutches, steering and suspension systems, while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires a technical diploma or equivalent, practical automotive repair experience and good English communication.

Qualifications

Technical diploma or equivalent certification required.
Practical knowledge of automotive periodic maintenance and general mechanical repairs.
Ability to independently repair brakes, clutches, steering and suspension systems.
Familiarity with vehicle inspection and fault identification.
Good communication in English; awareness of health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

Carry out periodic vehicle maintenance and general mechanical repairs on passenger vehicles.
Inspect and repair braking, clutch, steering and suspension systems.
Diagnose mechanical faults and determine required repairs; report to Team Leader.
Document maintenance and repair work accurately in repair orders.
Maintain workshop safety, quality standards and on-time completion of repairs.
