Leading Automotive Company in Dubai is seeking an Automotive Designer to drive vehicle modification projects. You will craft detailed 2D drawings and 3D models, focusing on sheet metal components, assemblies, and manufacturing layouts to support production.

Applicants should have 3–5 years in automotive design, strong SOLIDWORKS/AutoCAD skills, and experience with BOMs and fabrication documentation. Immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Automotive Design or Vehicle Modification.
• Hands-on experience in Sheet Metal Design is mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD.
• Experience in Assembly Design, Fabrication Drawings, and Manufacturing Documentation.
• Good understanding of vehicle structures, fabrication, welding, bending, and sheet metal manufacturing processes.
• Ability to prepare detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, BOM, and technical documentation.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop vehicle modification and conversion concepts for specialized vehicles.
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, and manufacturing drawings using SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD.
• Design sheet metal parts, structural components, mounting brackets, assemblies, and fabrication layouts.
• Prepare assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, exploded views, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Coordinate with Production, Fabrication, Welding, Procurement, and Quality teams to ensure design feasibility.
• Review customer requirements and develop practical engineering solutions.
• Ensure designs comply with engineering, quality, and safety standards.
• Maintain design revisions, drawing registers, and technical documentation.
• Provide technical support during prototype development and production.
