Confidential Careers seeks an AutoCAD Specialist to join our engineering consultancy in Abu Dhabi. You will prepare, coordinate, review, and revise technical drawings for engineering and construction projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project standards.

Collaborating with engineers, architects, MEP teams, contractors, and clients, you will maintain document control, support submissions, and produce as-built drawings when required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings, layouts, sections, elevations, and technical details.
• Develop and modify drawings based on engineering designs and project specifications.
• Coordinate drawings with engineers, architects, MEP teams, contractors and other disciplines.
• Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, annotations, and compliance with project standards.
• Incorporate comments and revisions from consultants, clients, engineers and project teams.
• Maintain proper layers, blocks, title blocks, templates, and revision control.
• Prepare drawings for client, consultant and authority submissions.
• Assist engineers and design teams with technical drafting and documentation.
• Update drawings based on site changes and prepare as-built drawings when required.
• Maintain organized CAD files and ensure proper document control.
• Identify drawing discrepancies and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
• Ensure drawings are completed accurately and within project deadlines.

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Specialist with a strong engineering consultancy/consultant background. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience preparing, coordinating, reviewing, and revising technical drawings for engineering and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings, layouts, sections, elevations, and technical details.

• Coordinate drawings with engineers, architects, MEP teams, contractors, and other disciplines.
• Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, annotations, and compliance with project standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience as an AutoCAD Specialist/Draftsman.
• Previous experience in an engineering consultancy or consultant environment is preferred.
• Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, engineers, architects, and contractors.
• Good understanding of drafting standards and drawing revision procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.
