Job summary

DEHN MIDDLE EAST FZE is seeking an AutoCAD Engineer to develop detailed 2D and 3D designs for lightning protection, surge protection, and earthing projects.

You will create and modify technical drawings, cooperate with the UAE team, partners, distributors and consultants to ensure accuracy and compliance with BS EN/IEC 62305 and related standards. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in electrical or related field.
• Experience as AutoCAD Engineer with 2D and 3D design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and related design tools.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and AutoCAD shortcuts.
• Detail-oriented with good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D designs using AutoCAD.
• Create and modify drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Collaborate with UAE team, partners and engineers to ensure design accuracy.
• Coordinate with customers to gather information for design development.
• Review design specs to assess feasibility and compliance with standards.
• Provide technical support to sales and partners.
• Attend project meetings and track design progress.
