Job summary

ELECTRA in Ras al-Khaimah is seeking an AutoCAD Operator to oversee production drawings and coordinate with site teams. You will maintain daily employee time sheets and ensure drawings reflect on-site conditions and project specs.

You will apply drafting standards, verify accuracy, and document revisions while collaborating with suppliers and production staff to keep projects on schedule and within quality targets.

Qualifications

• Proficient in creating accurate technical drawings using AutoCAD
• Knowledge of drafting standards and practices

Job description

The AutoCAD Operator is responsible for overseeing production and site activities while also managing the daily time sheet of employees. This role requires proficiency in AutoCAD software and the ability to effectively coordinate with the production team and site personnel.

Main Accountabilities

• Production Oversight: Collaborate with the production team to understand project requirements and create accurate technical drawings using AutoCAD software.
• Site Coordination: Liaise with site personnel to gather information and ensure that drawings align with on-site conditions and requirements.
• Time Sheet Management: Maintain and update daily time sheets for employees, accurately recording their working hours and tasks performed.
• Quality Assurance: Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project-related documentation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the production team, site personnel, and suppliers to ensure smooth communication and coordination.

Technical & Functional Skills
