Job summary

Dubai International is seeking an Audit Manager to lead multi-industry engagements in the UAE, building direct client relationships and guiding teams from planning through to delivery. The role demands a strong foundation from a Big 4 or Top 10 environment and a track record of delivering high-quality audits.

The successful candidate will supervise teams, ensure compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations, and contribute to business development within a diverse client base.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA or CPA with 5-7 years of post-qualification experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role within the UAE.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, UAE Corporate Tax, AML regulations, and free zone compliance frameworks.
• Proven track record managing a multi-client portfolio and leading audit teams.
• Experience in CaseWare or similar audit management tools is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Client-first mindset with the ability to build and sustain long-term professional relationships.

• Review financial statements and working papers for compliance with IFRS and UAE regulatory standards, including Corporate Tax, AML, and free zone compliance frameworks
• Supervise, coach, and develop audit seniors and associates
• Serve as the primary client point of contact throughout the engagement lifecycle
• Ensure engagements are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards
• Communicate audit findings, key risks, and actionable recommendations to clients and partners
• Collaborate with tax, advisory, and legal teams on complex, multi-disciplinary assignments
• Contribute to business development and client proposals where applicable

Key Responsibilities

The Associate Consultant’s role is to contribute to the effective running of bids, account plans, projects and/or client engagements by carrying out targeted research and analyses. This is typically the level for an experienced analyst, able to work with limited guidance and on own initiative. Work will be scoped, allocated then reviewed by a more experienced colleague. The focus is on client delivery supporting others as part of a team. At this level there can be direct interaction with clients, but the bulk of work will be desk/office-based. Some analytical support may be business development focused but this is not a major accountability area.
