The Company

One of our clients based in Abu Dhabi and active within the Oil & Gas sector is currently looking for an Audit Manager to assist the Internal Audit Director.

Responsibilities

• You will provide assurance that risk exposures are well managed, control framework and corporate governance process are in place, effective, and efficient and that improvement is sustained and supported.
• You will assist the Internal Audit Director in the development of audit strategies and plans.
• You will manage a team of auditors.
• You will be overseeing the delivery of audits by third parties.
• You will maintain up-to-date status on all reported audit observations.

Qualifications

• MUST possess a Bachelor degree in Accounting/Business Administration or Engineering/IT.
• Professional certification from an accredited institution (ACA, CIA, ACCA, CPA).
• MUST HAVE at least 8 years in Internal Audit + 4 years in a managerial level.
• Relevant industry experience is highly preferable as are skills such as construction project auditing.
• Excellent command of English, verbal and written.
