Job summary

Mohamed Hareb Al Otaiba Group is seeking an Assistant Manager for internal audit to conduct fieldwork across diverse business units and group‑wide processes under supervision. You will help build working papers, data tests and tracking tools for a new Internal Audit function, with IT audit skills as an advantage.

You should have 6–8 years in internal or external audit, risk or finance; IT or data audit experience is preferred for the IT/data post. The role is based in Dubai with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information systems, business or a related field.
• Professional qualification or progress towards one: CIA, ACCA, CPA, CA or CISA (CISA or CISSP preferred for the IT or data audit post).
• 3 to 6 years of internal audit, external audit, risk or finance experience.
• IT or data audit post: at least 3 years of IT audit, data analytics or IT risk experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fieldwork across the group’s Business Units and group‑wide processes.
• Walk through processes, document controls and prepare process maps and risk/control matrices.
• Test data and records; select samples and test them; identify exceptions and root causes.
• Draft findings and sections of audit reports and discuss them with process owners.
• Follow up management actions and update the issue tracker.
• Support IT/data audit by reviewing system access, controls and audit trails.
