Job summary

Rakbank in the United Arab Emirates seeks an accomplished Treasury Sales professional to drive revenue across FX, derivatives, and structured products for Business Banking clients. You will structure and price solutions, advise clients, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure policy-compliant execution.

Ideal candidates have deep market knowledge, strong relationship skills, and a track record of growing a high-value Treasury portfolio within UAE markets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related discipline.
  • MBA, ACI qualification, or another relevant professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue and turnover across FX, derivatives, gold, structured deposits, and other Treasury products.
  • Identify sales opportunities within the Business Banking customer portfolio.
  • Actively market Treasury solutions to new and existing clients.
  • Structure, price, and execute vanilla and exotic derivative products.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to establish customer limits and obtain required approvals.
  • Monitor markets and provide market views, pricing insights, and hedging strategies.
  • Partner with Relationship Managers to identify client opportunities and deliver tailored Treasury proposals.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Treasury Sales & Revenue Generation
  • Drive revenue and turnover across foreign exchange, derivatives, gold, structured deposits, and other Treasury products.
  • Identify sales opportunities within the Business Banking customer portfolio.
  • Actively market Treasury solutions to new and existing clients.
  • Achieve agreed revenue, profitability, and client engagement targets.
Client Advisory & Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Business Banking customers.
  • Understand clients’ business models, market exposures, and risk management requirements.
  • Provide timely market views, pricing insights, and tailored hedging strategies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on foreign exchange, interest rate, commodity, and structured solutions.
Structuring, Pricing & Execution
  • Structure, price, and execute vanilla and exotic derivative products.
  • Manage Treasury foreign exchange flows arising from Business Banking clients.
  • Work closely with the Head of Treasury Sales to develop and market relevant trade ideas.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to establish customer limits and obtain required approvals.
Market Intelligence & Product Development
  • Monitor local and international financial markets to identify emerging opportunities and risks.
  • Maintain awareness of economic developments, currency movements, interest rates, and commodity trends.
  • Engage with market participants and service providers to remain informed about industry developments.
  • Contribute ideas for new Treasury products and customer solutions.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with Business Banking Relationship Managers and Team Leaders to identify client opportunities.
  • Coordinate with Treasury, Credit, Risk, Operations, Compliance, and other relevant functions.
  • Participate in customer meetings and support the development of tailored Treasury proposals.
  • Deliver Treasury product training and market updates to internal teams.
Governance, Reporting & Controls
  • Ensure all activities comply with Bank policies, operating procedures, and Central Bank requirements.
  • Maintain accurate management information, sales trackers, and pipeline reports.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and service delivery.
  • Maintain awareness of business continuity requirements and operational risk controls.
What We’re Looking For:
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • MBA, ACI qualification, or another relevant professional certification is preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Banking, Treasury, Global Markets, or Financial Services.
  • At least 7 years of relevant Treasury Sales experience is preferred.
  • Proven track record of generating Treasury revenue and managing corporate or business banking clients.
  • Experience within the UAE or wider GCC banking market is highly desirable.
Industry Exposure
  • Extensive knowledge of foreign exchange, interest rate derivatives, commodity derivatives, structured deposits, and hedging strategies.
  • Strong understanding of corporate and Business Banking client requirements.
  • Practical experience in structuring, pricing, and executing Treasury products.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and market practices within the UAE.
