Job description

We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Associate - Public Health to join our Building Engineering practice in Abu Dhabi. In this role you will contribute to the design and implementation of public health of projects that improve the well‑being of communities in the region.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee MEP / Public Health design engineering projects ensuring adherence to scope budget and timelines.
  • Oversee the design analysis and review of complex public health systems for assigned projects.
  • Ensure all designs meet regulatory codes safety standards and project specifications.
  • Conduct design reviews audits and risk assessments to ensure the reliability and safety of designs.
  • Promote the adoption of advanced design tools materials and methodologies to improve outcomes.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks in designs and project execution.
  • Allocate engineering resources efficiently to meet project demands.
  • Implement digital workflows by adopting design automation solutions that integrate computational engineering solutions within the BIM environment.
  • Involve in technical evaluation of Building Engineering systems appropriate for the project through technical and commercial evaluation provide guidance and recommendation to Clients on proposed design solution.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 10 years of experience in mechanical and public health design engineering
  • Experience with data analysis and statistical software
  • Strong knowledge of public health systems infrastructure and environmental health and safety principles
  • Familiarity with GCC public health regulations and standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Strong project management abilities and experience with project management tools
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Professional Engineering (PE) certification is a plus
