Job summary

Jobtailor in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai) seeks a Senior role focused on Supply Chain Governance and Process Excellence. You will assess risk in sourcing activities, drive governance, and collaborate with CoE and global teams to ensure compliance and continuous improvement across procurement processes.

Qualifications

Minimum 4-year Academic Degree (Business Finance / BSc).
Post graduate degree in Supply Chain Management and / or equivalent professional qualification (Preferred).
3-5 years relevant working experience.
2-3 years of relevant working and managerial experience in Supply chain governance/ Process Excellence procurement
Experience working across global locations and grasp of political, social, infrastructure and integrity challenges
Excellent content knowledge around Oracle, Coupa, Ivalua, SAP, Ariba and other ERP technologies
Experience in continuous improvement through the implementation of best practices (SCM)

Responsibilities

Assess the risk impact of various sourcing activities and provide insights to domain leads on risk mitigation.
Liaise with CoE members to run sprints for achieving targeted outcomes.
Identify best practices and share expertise to upskill and grow the CoE.
Drive governance and compliance of sourcing events against guardrails and policies.

Job description

Assess the risk impact of various sourcing activities and provide insights to the respective domain /category leads on risk mitigation
Liaise with other Procurement Excellence CoE members to run sprints for achieving targeted outcomes
Identify best practices and share expertise with CoE members to upskill and achieve overall growth for the CoE
Drive governance and compliance of sourcing events against the defined guardrails, standards and procurement policies
Monitor and test procurement processes to ensure continuous tracking of compliance levels
Collaborate with all domain PODs to ensure effective control mechanisms are in place for different types of sourcing events and identify opportunities for improvement

Requirements

Minimum 4-year Academic Degree (Business Finance / BSc)
Post graduate degree in Supply Chain Management and / or equivalent professional qualification (Preferred)
3-5 years relevant working experience
2-3 years of relevant working and managerial experience in Supply chain governance/ Process Excellence procurement
Understanding of emerging supply chain practices, technology and tools
Experience working in a medium to large organization, managing Supply chain governance/ Process Excellence
Experience working across global locations/ regions and have a grasp of political, social, infrastructure and integrity challenges
Excellent content knowledge around Oracle, Coupa, Ivalua, SAP, Ariba and other ERP technologies
Experience in continuous improvement through the implementation of best practices (SCM)
