Job summary

EDGE invites applications for an Associate - LMS Support to ensure smooth operation of the Learning Management System and support VE training activities. You will create and maintain courses, enroll learners and instructors, manage schedules and records, generate reports, and safeguard training data.

The role requires experience implementing LMS platforms at scale, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to work in a results-driven environment with high attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Multimedia, technical or education fields.
• 5 years of knowledge systems experience in education and training.
• Hands-on experience with Implementation of learning management systems and other educational technologies at scale.
• Vocationally qualified trainer, assessor and internal verifier; relevant IT or multimedia certifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Supervised use of Workflow systems (Sharepoint or similar).
• Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (Blackboard, Brightspace, Moodle or similar).
• Familiarity with working in small team, with demanding deadlines.
• High level of attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform the administrative functions of a learning management system.
• Create and manage courses in an LMS.
• Enter, update, and manage training data, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Enroll learners and instructors according to VE naming conventions.
• Assist in archiving courses after completion of delivery.
• Distribute comprehensive existing training reports as required.
• Support design and development of customised systems to support processes.
• Understand existing data structures for delivery systems.
• Use reports and dashboards.
• Support implementation, testing and rollout.
• Support training delivery, assessment and quality assurance as required.
• Contribute to quality assurance activities as required.
• Use standard tools to independently manage records of training activities, certifications, and compliance documentation.
• Draft, send, and manage standard training-related communications using standard tools and templates to ensure clarity and consistency.

ABOUT THE ROLE

BEACON RED, an EDGE Group entity, are hiring a Associate - LMS Support professional to support the smooth operation of its Learning Management System and vocational education training activities.The role will assist with creating and maintaining courses, enrolling learners and instructors, managing training schedules and records, generating reports, and ensuring training data is accurate, complete, and securely maintained.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform the administrative functions of a learning management system

• Create and manage courses in an LMS
• Enter, update, and manage training data, ensuring accuracy and consistency utilizing appropriate tools and techniques to conduct analysis.
• Enroll learners and instructors according to VE naming conventions
• Assist in archiving courses after completion of delivery
• Distribute comprehensive existing training reports as required.

Support design and development of customised systems to support processes

• Understand existing data structures for delivery systems
• Use reports and dashboards.
• Support implementation, testing and rollout.

Support training delivery, assessment and quality assurance as required

• Suport VE team implementation of high quality delivery content.
• Contribute to quality assurance activities as required
• Use standard tools to independently manage records of training activities, certifications, and compliance documentation, ensuring that all information is accurately entered, updated, and stored under supervision.
• Draft, send, and manage standard training-related communications using standard tools and templates to ensure clarity and consistency.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Preferred minimum of Bachelor degree in Multimedia, technical or education fields
• 5 years of knowledge systems experience in education and training
• Hands-on experience with Implementation of learning management systems and other educational technologies at scale
• Vocationally qualified trainer, assessor and internal verifier Relevant IT or multimedia certifications
