• Support crowd management and enforce cinema policies for safety.
• Handle cash transactions, ticket control, and end-of-shift procedures.
• Perform duties across front-of-house areas: ticketing, ushering, and guest services.
• Assist with promotional activities, events, and cinema campaigns as required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and procedures.
• Support receipt, handling, and distribution of cinema materials as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation across the cinema, fostering a positive culture.
• Contribute to team success by supporting colleagues during peak times.

About the Job:

As an Associate - Guest Operations, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of Roxy Cinemas. You will be the face of the brand, providing professional and friendly service while supporting all front-of-house operations and maintaining high standards of safety, presentation, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver outstanding customer service and create memorable cinema experiences for guests.
• Provide information, assistance, and support to guests while responding to enquiries and requests professionally.
• Operate ticketing and point-of-sale systems efficiently and accurately.
• Support crowd management and enforce cinema policies to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
• Handle cash transactions, ticket control, and end-of-shift financial procedures.
• Perform duties across all front-of-house areas, including ticketing, ushering, and guest services.
• Assist with promotional activities, marketing events, and cinema campaigns as required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Support the receipt, handling, and distribution of cinema materials and supplies when required.
• Maintain cleanliness, presentation standards, and a positive work culture across the cinema.
• Contribute to team success by completing assigned tasks effectively and supporting colleagues during busy operational periods.

About You:

• High School Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• 1-3 years of experience in a customer service, hospitality, retail, entertainment, or food & beverage environment.
• Excellent customer service and guest engagement skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Comfortable working flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Basic cash handling and transaction management experience.
• Ability to follow operational, safety, and hygiene procedures.
• Positive, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Good English communication skills.

Desired:

• Previous experience within a cinema, entertainment, leisure, or premium hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of Vista ticketing systems or similar ticketing/POS platforms.
• Familiarity with food & beverage operations and guest-facing service standards.
• Understanding of health, safety, and HACCP procedures.
