Job summary

Bayut in the UAE is seeking an Associate Commercial Analyst to guide the sales team with data-driven insights. You will build dashboards, monitor KPIs, perform deep-dive analyses, and collaborate across Product, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Operations and Sales to drive revenue growth.

You will also design executive reports, support budgeting and P&L analyses, ensure data integrity, and develop self-service tools enabling business users to access insights with minimal analyst support.

Responsibilities

• Support target-setting and track performance for Property Inside Sales and Jobs verticals.
• Build, maintain, and automate dashboards and reports to monitor business performance and KPIs.
• Perform deep-dive analysis on high-volume, multi-source datasets to identify opportunities.
• Monitor competitor performance, pricing strategies, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Sales teams to provide insights.
• Develop and maintain self-service reporting tools for business users.
• Design executive dashboards, presentations, and business documentation for senior leadership.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and P&L analyses with Strategy and Finance teams.
• Assist in managing the commercial performance and P&L of verticals via reviews and analysis.
• Work with Central Data Team to deliver analytics and data requirements.
• Spend time on the sales floor with the Sales team to understand challenges and improve processes.
• Attend client meetings to assist with insights, proposals, and data-driven recommendations.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity of reports; resolve data quality issues.
• Drive automation to improve reporting efficiency and revenue opportunities.
• Deliver analytical projects within timelines while managing multiple priorities.
• Work independently on complex problems and propose data-backed solutions.
• Support the Director of Property Inside Sales & Jobs on strategic initiatives and problem solving.
• Identify opportunities to improve revenue, client success, and operational efficiency through analysis.

As an Associate Commercial Analyst, you will help guide the sales team in improving processes, services, products, and software through analysis. You will share a continuous focus on growth with the business leaders and will be co-responsible for building out the dubizzle/Bayut brand.

In this role, you will:

• Support the target-setting process for the Property Inside Sales and Jobs verticals and track performance against targets.
• Build, maintain, and automate dashboards and reports to monitor business performance, sales productivity, operational KPIs, and commercial metrics.
• Perform deep-dive analysis on high-volume, multi-source datasets to identify business opportunities, operational inefficiencies, and revenue growth initiatives.
• Monitor competitor performance, pricing strategies, and business models, providing actionable recommendations to strengthen market positioning.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Sales teams to provide analytical insights that support data‑driven business strategies and informed decision‑making.
• Develop and maintain self‑service reporting tools and data solutions that enable business users to access insights with minimal analyst support.
• Design executive‑level dashboards, presentations, and business documentation, translating complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership and client proposals.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, P&L analysis, business planning, and ad hoc commercial analyses in collaboration with the Strategy and Finance teams.
• Assist in managing and monitoring the commercial performance and P&L of the Property and Jobs verticals through regular performance reviews and financial analysis.
• Work closely with the Central Data Team and the Property Inside Sales & Jobs business to facilitate timely delivery of analytical support, reports, dashboards, and data requirements.
• Spend significant time on the sales floor working closely with the Sales team to understand business challenges, prepare sales enablement kits, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Attend approximately 2–3 client meetings per month to assist Sales Account Managers with analytical insights, business presentations, proposal preparation, and data‑driven recommendations.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of business data by validating reports and resolving data quality issues.
• Drive automation initiatives that improve reporting efficiency, streamline business processes, and maximise revenue opportunities.
• Deliver analytical projects within agreed timelines while effectively managing multiple priorities and collaborating with other analysts when required.
• Work independently on complex business problems, proactively identifying opportunities for operational improvement and recommending practical, data‑backed solutions.
• Directly support the Director of Property Inside Sales & Jobs on strategic initiatives, business reviews, commercial analyses, and management consulting‑style problem solving.
• Proactively identify and recommend opportunities to improve revenue, client success, operational efficiency, and overall business performance through data‑driven analysis and actionable insights.
