Job summary

NACBA in Dubai invites a qualified accountant to join a regional finance team as a controls and treasury accounting specialist. You will oversee accounting for treasury products, IFRS 9 implementation, hedge accounting, and ensure accurate GL entries and financial reporting.

You will support regulatory and tax reporting, assist with audits, participate in new product reviews, and drive automation and process improvements across the finance function.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience in financial control or product control within banking
• Knowledge of treasury products (FX, derivatives, hedge accounting)
• Strong understanding of IFRS, particularly IFRS 9
• Experience with financial systems (e.g. Oracle GL) is beneficial
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
