Job summary
Atkins Middle East in Dubai is seeking an Assistant Structural Engineer to join the Design Centre Dubai. The successful candidate will hold a Structural Engineering degree and have up to 3 years of professional experience, contributing to day-to-day delivery of structural design in line with Atkins Design Principles.
Reporting to senior engineers, you will collaborate across disciplines on projects, support compliance with design codes, and help deliver elegant, safe structures for our clients
Qualifications
- Degree in Structural Engineering is required.
- 0–3 years of professional experience.
- Experience with structural steelwork and concrete is preferred.
- Familiarity with European and/or US design codes.
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary design environment.
- Strong time management and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the technical delivery of structural engineering design.
- Coordinate with Atkins Bangalore Centre of Excellence to support Dubai projects.
- Monitor design variations and report to project leads as needed.
- Collaborate across disciplines to ensure commercially efficient design solutions.
