Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Dubai Metro.
• 7 years of experience in military/police service/security with 2 years in management.

Job description

The purpose of this position is to assist Security Manager and lead all Security Supervisors, and their teams,to provide quality security within Depots, MPS, ITPS & Network Patrolling.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic

• Lead a team of Security Supervisors and Security Officers to deliver a safe, reliable, world class and customer focused security services at depots, MPS, ITPS & Network Patrolling.
• Provide effective communications and information with internal and external in an efficient and timelymanner.
• Support the Security Manager to implement security policy and plan security systems for Dubai Metroand Dubai Tram.
• Participate in incident / accident management and crisis management.
• Represent Security Department at Police station, Public prosecutor and Dubai Courts following upCrime cases and liaise with company Solicitors.
• Visit security outsourced company's accommodation monthly to inspect staff accommodation.
• Develop, implement and enforce safe methods of work for security operations and related activities.
• Monitor service delivery and manage the Security Supervisors / Security Officers to satisfy thecommitted performance targets.
• Conducts Performance Review, handling disciplinary, grievances on the Security Supervisors withinthe assigned area of responsibilities.
• Assist to develop and maintain of security procedures and work instructions.
• Conduct monthly Security Management Inspection for Metro and Tram in accordance with contractualKPI requirements.

Operational

• Communicating and reporting details of incidents, accidents and irregularities in daily basis.
• Serve as Security On-Call.
• Participating in reviewing the daily OCC logs.
• Attending special events / walkthrough / table tops / live exercises and meetings.
• Assisting Passenger service to provide security during special events.
• Carry out planned and random inspections of depots, MPS, ITPS and Network Patrolling Teams.
• Perform and carry out other duties as directed / instructed by Security Manager or Head of Securityand Stakeholder Relations.
• Manage and supervise the day to day security operations of depots, MPSs, ITPs and NetworkPatrolling.
• Communicate and report details of incidents, accidents and irregularities.
• Dealing with security contractor and Dubai Police for day to day issues.
• Liaising with Dubai Police and sharing information related to crime and any unusual event.
• Perform other duties as required by the Head of Security and Stakeholder Relations or / and ChiefOperation Officer.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• Degree holder or higher diploma of post-secondaryeducation and / or relevant professional qualifications.

Experience

• 2 Years in Dubai Metro.
• 7 years of experience in military / police service / security of which 2 years’ in management capacity employed in a lawenforcement agency, a security services provider or a transport / service company.
• Thorough understanding of security operations systems,processes and associated activities such as regulationsand civil liability, patrol, access and exit control, fireprevention, emergency response, operation andmaintenance of security facilities and equipment.
• General technical experience.
