Qualifications
10+ years of work experience ideally with an engineering consultancy.
Experience on water infrastructure projects including pumping systems and pipelines.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of Engineers (Inspectors) and contractor.
Implement methods for dispute avoidance and resolution.
Manage multiple sites proactively.
Review contractor technical submittals for compliance.
Respond to client/contractor queries regarding mechanical discipline.
Evaluate technical proposals and solve construction technical issues.
Monitor progress according to the Work Breakdown Structure.
Oversee environmental protection aspects of construction projects.
Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance Specifications.
Review and justify material submissions.
Prepare monthly construction project valuation.
Provide project progress updates as required.
