A leading engineering firm is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer in Dubai with a relevant engineering degree and over 10 years of experience in design and road work supervision. The candidate must have extensive knowledge of Dubai’s sewerage, drainage, and irrigation systems and be able to respond promptly to emergencies. Responsibilities include developing design sketches and coordinating with municipality projects, requiring strong drafting skills and excellent English communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in design, construction, and supervision of house connections and road work.
• Full knowledge of sewerage, drainage, and irrigation networks in Dubai.
• Experience in dealing with emergency works.

Responsibilities

• Develop design sketches and follow up on NOCs.
• Coordinate with various Dubai Municipality Projects.
• Respond to emergency works across the emirate.

About the job Assistant Resident Engineer - Civil

The Assistant Resident Engineer must have relevant engineering degree from recognized university and must have through knowledge and work experience of not less than 10 years in design, construction and supervision of house connections and miscellaneous works and road work.

Responsibility for all development of design sketches and following up NOCs.

Candidate must also have full and complete knowledge of existing sewerage, drainage and irrigation networks in the Emirate of Dubai.

He must also have thorough knowledge and work experience in dealing with emergency works. he must know all areas in the emirate of Dubai and must be able to locate and reach the areas immediately in case on any emergency works.

He must be able to deal with Public and coordinate with various Dubai Municipality Projects.

• Strong computer skills in drafting programs, Microsoft Word, Excel and Primavera P6
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
