The Assistant Project Lead supports the Project Lead in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to deadlines and within budget. This role involves coordinating team efforts, maintaining project documentation, tracking progress, and ensuring effective communication among stakeholders to meet project goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure task completion
  • Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and overall progress
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and presentations
  • Help identify risks and propose mitigation strategies
  • Track project budgets and support cost control efforts
  • Ensure compliance with project management standards and organizational procedures
  • Facilitate team meetings, take meeting notes, and follow up on action items
  • Communicate project updates to stakeholders and escalate issues when necessary
  • Support the Project Lead in managing client relationships and expectations
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelors degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • 24 years of experience in project coordination or a related support role
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira, Trello)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
Preferred Attributes
  • Project Management Certification (CAPM, PMP, or similar) is a plus
