Job Description

The University of Kalba invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Artificial Intelligence in the College of Computing and Intelligent Systems. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to excellence in teaching, high-quality research, curriculum innovation, and academic service, in alignment with the University’s mission and strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in Artificial Intelligence and related Computer Science disciplines.
• Deliver core AI courses such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Science, Intelligent Systems, and AI Applications.
• Integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and technologies effectively into teaching and learning activities.
• Develop course syllabi, learning materials, assessments, and instructional strategies aligned with program outcomes.
• Supervise and mentor students academically and support their research and career development.
• Conduct research and publish in reputable, high-impact journals indexed in Scopus.
• Participate in curriculum development, program review, and continuous improvement initiatives.
