The role includes designing and updating course materials, assessing student performance, supervising capstone and portfolio projects, and ensuring the achievement of program learning outcomes. The Assistant Professor is expected to contribute to curriculum development and continuous program improvement to align with current industry standards, emerging technologies, and creative practices. In addition to teaching, the role involves engaging in research and scholarly activities, publishing in relevant fields, and participating in interdisciplinary collaborations. The position also supports academic advising, departmental service, and collaboration with industry partners to enhance student employability and ensure the program remains relevant and competitive.

In addition to program coordination, the Assistant Professor will head research in specialized area related in order to enhance ADU’s profile and contribute to the knowledge development of the local and international community.
