Key Responsibilities

• Support the overall leadership and management of the primary school in alignment with the school's vision and strategic priorities
• Lead the development and implementation of the English curriculum across the primary phase
• Drive improvements in teaching quality, curriculum planning, and student achievement within the primary team
• Oversee assessment, tracking, reporting, and target setting to support student progress and attainment
• Monitor student behaviour, achievement, and wellbeing across the primary school
• Work with senior leadership to evaluate school performance and implement improvement strategies
• Lead curriculum development initiatives alongside middle and senior leaders
• Use assessment data to identify progress trends and implement targeted academic interventions
• Promote high standards of teaching, learning, and pastoral care within the primary phase
• Develop strong parent partnerships and maintain effective communication with families
• Support staff development through mentoring, coaching, and professional learning initiatives
• Line‑manage Heads of Department and support leadership capacity across the school
• Ensure alignment with UAE inspection frameworks including KHDA, DSIB, and national education priorities

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree with Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent teaching qualification
• Recognised leadership qualification or participation in a leadership development programme
• Proven experience in educational leadership within a primary school environment
