The United Arab Emirates University invites applications for a faculty position in Ancient History of the Arabian Peninsula, at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Candidates are expected to have a strong commitment to teaching excellence and student advising at undergraduate and graduate level, a demonstrable research capability that will enable the candidate to develop and sustain a funded research program in their area of expertise, publish their research findings in refereed journals, and actively engage in promoting the growth of the UAE University. English is the language of instruction and communication.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must have an earned doctorate in the field of Ancient History.

Preferred Qualifications:

Specialization in Ancient History of the Arabian Peninsula.
