Job summary

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company is seeking a Cementing Operations Helper to support on-site cementing activities in Abu Dhabi. You will assist in preparing, rig-up, and rig-down of cementing equipment, ensuring safe, efficient delivery that meets ADNOC and client requirements.

• Minimum 1 year practical mechanical exposure or in similar position.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation, rig-up, and rig-down of cementing equipment, units, and accessories at the well site.
• Support cementing operations including primary cementing, squeeze cementing, plug setting, and remedial cementing under supervision.
• Assist in mixing, pumping, and displacement of cement slurry while monitoring pressures, rates, and volumes.
• Handle bulk cement, additives, mixing systems, lines, manifolds, and pumping equipment ensuring correct connection and safe operation.
• Support pre-job checks, equipment inspections, function tests, and routine maintenance of cementing units and related equipment.
• Assist in troubleshooting operational issues during cementing jobs and report abnormalities to the Cementing Operator or Supervisor.
• Maintain proper handling, storage, and housekeeping of cementing chemicals, additives, tools, and equipment.
• Coordinate with rig crew, drilling team, and other service lines to ensure smooth and timely execution of cementing operations.
• Comply with all UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling, and Client Asset Integrity Management codes of practice and operational standards.

JOB PURPOSE :

Assists in the execution of cementing operations to support oilfield services activities. Ensures the safe, efficient, and quality delivery of cementing services to achieve well integrity, zonal isolation, and operational performance in line with ADNOC and client requirements.

• Minimum 1 years practical mechanical exposure or in similar position.
• Given the nature of oil field service work, must possess good interpersonal and communications skills.

• Simple written and spoken English.
