Job summary

Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Assistant Nurse for the Maternity/Postnatal Ward. You will deliver patient-centric nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

Essentially, you will identify and manage risks, promote safe care, and contribute to a positive patient experience while supporting ongoing staff development and learning within the ward.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Provide and coordinate patient-centric and evidence based nursing care, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, by ensuring compliance to ethical and professional standards set by regulatory authorities and the company

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Deliver quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in collaboration with the multi professional team according to set clinical standards and relevant legislation
• Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks in accordance with appropriate MCME risk policies, procedures and relevant legislation
• Take active responsibility for positive patient experiences by creating a conducive environment as guided by nursing leadership
• Contribute to a learning environment that builds employee competence

REQUIRED EDUCATION

valid BLS certificate

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Essential: At least two year's in own country

Desired: UAE experience would be beneficial
