Job Title: Assistant Manager – Medical Affairs

Summary

The Assistant Manager – Medical Affairs will support the Medical Affairs function by assisting in the coordination of physician utilization and productivity initiatives, contributing to operational efficiency improvements, and helping ensure adherence to clinical risk management and compliance standards. Aiming to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and assist in the execution of medical projects that drive the quality and growth of SKIH hospitals and related medical programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyse physician schedules and productivity metrics to optimize resource allocation and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between physicians, hospital teams, and Medical Office staff to streamline workflows and enhance satisfaction.
  • Support implementation of process improvements and ensure timely completion of operational activities and medical initiatives.
  • Coordinate clinical risk management activities, including training, documentation, and compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies.
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with audits, quality assurance, and reporting related to physician performance and Medical Affairs projects.
  • Organize meetings, prepare documentation, and track action items to support project timelines and senior leadership review.
  • Act as liaison between hospital physician leadership and corporate administration, supporting physician productivity, recruitment, retention, and onboarding.
  • Oversee operational management for a network of 600 physicians across multiple hospitals, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.
  • Support standardization of Physician Affairs practices, including rostering, credentialing, privileging, and workforce planning.
  • Collaborate with Clinical and Physician Affairs teams to ensure initiatives align with and contribute to strategic hospital goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or Nursing or a related field is required.
  • 7+ years of experience in administrative role preferable in healthcare company.
  • Clinical background or nursing experience is essential to effectively support medical governance and quality initiatives.
  • Native-level proficiency in written and verbal English, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Proficient in creating and managing reports using Microsoft Excel.
