Emirates Islamic is seeking a Retail Risk Analyst to assess and approve Home Finance applications within delegated authority, ensuring sound credit judgments and strict adherence to lending policies, Sharia principles where applicable, and regulatory requirements.

You will monitor portfolio quality, track performance through MIS, support escalations, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver timely, high-quality service in English and Arabic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Retail Credit, Home Finance, or Consumer Lending.
• Strong knowledge of credit analysis, financial assessment, lending policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and Microsoft Office skills with the ability to work under pressure.

The Consumer Risk unit is responsible for evaluating and approving retail home finance applications that exceed delegated authority, ensuring all credit decisions comply with the Bank’s lending policies, regulatory requirements, Sharia principles, and risk standards while delivering timely, high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

• Assess and approve Retail Home Finance applications within delegated authority while ensuring sound credit judgment
• Review remedial and exception cases, ensuring decisions are delivered within agreed turnaround times (TAT).
• Monitor portfolio quality, productivity, and operational performance through regular MIS reporting and continuous process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, audit recommendations, and risk control standards.
• Support the Senior Manager in managing escalations, resolving customer and operational issues, and coaching team members to enhance performance.

Main Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Retail Credit, Home Finance, or Consumer Lending.
• Strong knowledge of credit analysis, financial assessment, lending policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and Microsoft Office skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and proficiency in English & Arabic.
