This role involves:
  • Supporting the financial health of the Coca-Cola Arena by executing accurate financial planning, dynamic forecasting, and insightful performance analysis.
  • Managing the financial lifecycle of all events, ensuring timely and accurate settlement analysis, and driving profitable strategic decisions in the fast-paced events industry.
  • Ensure all event-related financial settlements (internal costs, promoter fees, ticket revenues, F&B commissions) are completed, signed off per contractual terms, and payments are processed within agreed timelines.
  • Develop and maintain monthly rolling forecasts, performing rigorous analysis of actual performance versus approved budget and forecast to ensure accuracy and identifying commercial risks and opportunities
  • Prepare the monthly management pack, including high-level commentary on financial performance, key operational KPIs, and trend analysis for executive leadership and owners.
  • Monitor and track capex spend versus approved budgets ensuring alignment with long-term strategic plans.
  • Serve as a key financial partner to commercial departments, providing ad-hoc analysis and financial modeling to support new business proposals and cost-saving initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CMA)
Experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in similar role
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, financial modeling)
  • Experience working with a major ERP system (e.g., Microsoft Business Central)
  • Previous experience in the UAE, preferably in the event industry.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
